Money is an abstract concept for them. I recommend that even though the unit is over to get them to count change, also to make 2 piles of equal amounts. This is something they need a lot of practice with. It is good if they can keep practicing.

Counting money
Today the students counted money as a team. They were able to skip count the different amounts.
