A new Marcel has joined our group

Marcel went to the airport to pick up our newest Marcel friend. He is Mini Marcel's twin, his name is Mini-Twin Marcel. He is very excited to meet all of his new friends in January. He had lots of fun on the plane. He made friends with Ms. Cameron's cat right away.

Silly monkey

Marcel got to ride a fancy elevator. Then he was a silly monkey and played on the stairs. He even played hide and go seek on the stairs. Can you find him?

Marcel loves getting cuddles and spending time with Ms. Cameron's pets, She-Ra and Winston.

Marcel in Montreal

Marcel saw the sights in Montreal. It was a very cold day so he stole Ms. Cameron's scarf to warm up!

Santa came!

Santa came and Marcel could not be happier with his gift!

Marcels are very tired

The Marcels are so tired from playing with all of their friends, they had to sleep a lot. They miss all of you already.

Gingerbread Man

The Gingerbread Man from kindergarten came last Friday to play with all of the Marcels!

Gym

In several of our gym classes we have been playing silent bowling, the kids love it. They are getting very good, and I noticed they are starting to really help each other.

Christmas song

The class is working hard on their Christmas song. Some are practicing their solos and other are practicing their dance.

Pyjama Day!

We will have a PJ day this WEDNESDAY! Your child can come to school in their pyjamas and bring a stuffed animal.

indoor recess

Today it was too cold to go out, so we had indoor recess. The kids were happy they got to stay in!

Money Math Unit

Our last math unit before the new year is on money. A fun thing to do with them is to let them go through your change and count how much there is. Another good thing to do is to is to make 2 piles that equal the same amount, for example; 4 quarters equals 1 loonie.

Spelling tests

The students did amazing on their spelling tests again. They were sent home in their duo tangs, make sure you sign it every week, even though I don't stamp it anymore.

Gratitude Tree

For soaring eagles this month we are working on gratitude. Our class made a lovely tree and the whole school is putting things they are grateful for on the tree. Check it out when you are at school, it's by the backdoor, right before the kindergarten door.

Yoga

Yesterday was the last yoga class.

Library Tomorrow
