Friendship bracelets

Today in art we made friendship bracelets.

Army-Marcel

Some of the students are sad and missing their mommies and daddies away at work. It is a hard time for all, but they are great at supporting each other. If they are sad they will give Army-Marcel a hug and he will send it to the moms and dads away at work.

Math

We are one our list math unit: measurement. The students will measure length, volume, mass, and temperature.

All year we have been working on ordinal and cardinal numbers as well as place value; and we will go over that as well now.

We will start to do our review lightly. We will do review more heavily once we are done our unit on measurement.

I expect to start our exams near the end of May.

So please keep doing Mathletics at home at least 3 times a week.

Robots

Yesterday Ms. Smith brought in some robots in the class. The students had lots of fun! They had to be the robot`s bring and give it directions around the map.

Fine Arts Muesum

On Thursday they went to the Fine Arts Museum. It was different for them, but they had lots of fun!

Gym

Today in gym we played climbing tag. then we practiced kicking a soccer ball.

Permission slip for field trip

Today the permission slip was sent home for our field trip on Thursday. Please make sure it is sent back by Wednesday with the $5. We were lucky that we have a grant from the goverment that covered 75% of the trip.

Library

Tomorrow we have library!

Spelling tests

We have finished our spelling tests for the year!

You still have to do home reading as homework. Also please do Mathletics at least 3 times a week.
